Open Source Station 1.0
If you are throwing away Station 1. code, please Open Source it so that we can keep using it in a self-hosted form and also make it better.
1st day - like... not love
Julien was good enough to give me access to the station extension. I have been a long time user of the app on OSX so I'm not thrown by the extension too much. My thoughts after the first hour: 1) Miss not having custom extensions 2) Can I assume the apps will move around based on usage? Haven't seen that so just checking. 3) Since I didn't have much history for these apps in Chrome (using the Station stand-alone) I am surprised that there is not a "launch feature" -- meaning I add the Auth0 app. If I click on it there is nothing there (since I don't have it in my history). No way to launch to that website so I have to leave the extension, go to Auth0 and later I see items in it. Did I miss something? 4) Was alittle confused with the email to gain access. One said to remember "CONTROL + ENTER" -- but "command-E" is the extension on OSX. Maybe that is for window users? 5) Since I'm now using the native Password1 X extension, things are much smoother than the stand-alone application. Thanks for the opportunity, -Desmond
Why is the rollout so, so, so, so so, slow!?
I have been a user for years. I enjoyed the app. I have no issue with the change from app to extension. But it has been taking so long. I had to change computers and lost the zip file for the original app and now I can't find it. I requested access to the new extension for Firefox and I've had no luck. I do not mind getting a beta version. I just want to try it out and get my work flow. Let me know and I still like Station, I just would like to have access to it. ANY UPDATES ON GAINING ACCESS TO MORE USERS???
Can the original Station be made open sourced?
Would it be possible for the original station to be pushed to git and allow for the community to continue to support it?
Station not autofocusing when browser search has focus
I've noticed if I'm ever typing, highlighting or just focused inside of the browser search bar (Chrome, have not tried other browsers) and I open station using the CMD + E shortcut the station widget pops up on the page but it doesn't autofocus the station search input. It would be nice if I didn't need to activate the shortcut and then move my cursor to start typing.
I miss the sidebar
Any plan to bring back the sidebar? I was really handy when switching between accounts. One click, no keyboard press - simple and always close
Kudos on the new direction
I want to recognize all of you involved in this project, for heading in a direction that was and has been ignored for too long. Way to innovate your app. Started using it back when multi client platforms were in. Man, keep up with everything you're doing. A massive amount of success is coming your way. ;) Cheers, stay safe and much love to all
Access not being granted for new Station App
I have been using Station extensively for very long now, but still haven't been granted access for the new one. Is there a way to request this or 'fast-track' it?
Can't add custom apps
I can't seem to find the "Add App" plus sign on the bottom left (according to the recent article on adding apps) on the browser. When I go to the App store it only shows apps and that's it. I'd like to add HelloWoofy, which isn't included in the App store. Help is appreciated!
