Have a dark or night mode / allow custom themes in Station / change UI color / add CSS styling
Hi guys, Firstly, thanks for the product. As a developer and a productivity geek, I can use my favourite tools together in Station App. But I’m also a dark theme geek. I use almost every tools with dark theme option or I switch theme via Stylus and [userstyles.org](http://userstyles.org). If you can add some adding/importing CSS feature , I’d be really happy. At night, I have to use Chrome instead of Station because of these dark theme options. Again thanks for the great app, have a great process!
Integration with password managers (1password, Lastpass & Dashlane)
SUMMARY As a user I want to be able to log in easily in the web apps using my password manager (Dashlane, 1password, etc) so that I don’t have to copy paste the login and password every time I configure a new service. GIVE US CONTEXT (tell us about the current experience) When I configure a new service, I don’t know what login and password I used because in a browser, my password manager is automatically signing me in. PROVIDE DETAILS (tell us what you are looking to change) I’d like to have the same automatic/easy sign in experience than in the browser. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT (how would it change your experience) The main advantages for me are: Easier and faster to configure a new service No need to copy and paste the login and password from another app
Group apps together (in the dock) / stack apps in folders / categorize apps
Folders on the dock, to group apps together. And then maybe the folder would expand into a second dock where the different apps are shown like in the main dock. When I’m working without an external monitor, I have to scroll a lot in the dock (19 apps at the moment). And I really don’t like that. The scrolling part, but also don’t have an instant overview of all my apps. If I could group apps together that, for my workflow, are used together, I could bring back the overview and I won’t have to scroll in the dock. For example Tweetdeck, Facebook, Buffer are apps I use only when I’m doing a particular task. Even better would be that when the vertical space isn’t there, the apps would be grouped together in a folder or something. And when I’m on a big monitor, the apps would be normal in the dock, but maybe with a visual divider to show that the apps are actually grouped.
Add Separators In The Dock
SUMMARY (your need in one sentence) Lines or other separators so we can visually group app icons together in the dock. GIVE US CONTEXT (tell us about the current experience) I find it’s tough to keep the apps organized. I’d like to be able to group apps together and have visual separation. PROVIDE DETAILS (tell us what you are looking to change) I’d like a small line or something that can be dragged and used to separate groups of apps. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT (how would it change your experience) The main advantages for me are: being able to see groups of apps at a glance being able to group apps by feature or use etc. Thanks!
Apps & bookmarks syncing across multiple devices / keep configuration on app reinstall / after disk cleaning
SUMMARY (your need in one sentence) I want to have access to the exact same experience on all my computers GIVE US CONTEXT (tell us about the current experience) When I log-in to Station on another device (at home for example), I have to set-up again all my applications & accounts, re-open all the pages I was working on & star again my bookmarks. PROVIDE DETAILS (tell us what you are looking to change) I’d like my Station to be synchronised across devices so that whenever I log- in I found everything right where I left it: Installed applications & their order in the dock Set-up accounts Open pages Bookmarks DESCRIBE THE IMPACT (how would it change your experience) The 2 main advantages are: Lot of time-saving when I log in on new devices Ability to have multiple Station accounts (with different Google Accounts) & juggle between them depending on the context
Show a badge with an unread notifications counter in Station's taskbar icon / Have a badge on the Station taskbar icon
It would nice have a notification on Desktop shown by a red point (or other color). I did a image to represent it.
Support the OS notification center / have Station notifications appear in Mac or Windows notifications panel
SUMMARY/CONTEXT As a user, I have many apps open at once, so Station is often in the background. Currently, there’s no way for me to see that I have a notification in Station without me actually going into Station, toggling between the 5 apps I have there, and manually finding the notification. It seems as though the only app I have in Station that does this currently is FB Messenger, which adds a badge icon in my dock if there is a new message. I use Hangouts at work a lot, and I can’t really use Station for it since there’s no notification system external to the app. PROVIDE DETAILS Rambox has support for Notification Center for many of it’s connected apps, and it would be great if Station could adopt something similar. Even within Station, if I’m looking at an app other than Hangouts, it still does not notify me if there’s a new message in any way. This is also true for Trello, Jira, Box, etc… System info: Mac running Sierra 10.12.6 DESCRIBE THE IMPACT The main advantages for me are: Better transparency into real-time collaboration Modernize the functionality to meet typical user expectations
Allow multiple accounts for apps that don't handle session / instance isolation (WhatsApp, Twitter, Telegram, Jira, Asana, Trello, Invision, Messenger, Atlassian, Linkedin, OneDrive, Outlook, Buffer, Hotjar, AWS, Monday, Airtable, Paypal, Zoho, Skype…)
I’m trying to connect my second number of WhatsApp, but I couldn’t make it! Trigger: When I try, the only option that appears is “Add a new instance of WhatsApp” I push the button and what happened is a new window with the same WhatsApp number. Issue: How do I connect multiple WhatsApp numbers? Station on mobile / Android app / iOS app (iPhone or iPad)
I own a small agency and run organization a fairly large organization. I think this platform would be useful in so many ways from on-boarding new hires to centralization of systems for field representatives. Would love it if theres was an app for to help improve accessibility and productivity when mobile.
