Integration with password managers (1password, Lastpass & Dashlane)
SUMMARY As a user I want to be able to log in easily in the web apps using my password manager (Dashlane, 1password, etc) so that I don’t have to copy paste the login and password every time I configure a new service. GIVE US CONTEXT (tell us about the current experience) When I configure a new service, I don’t know what login and password I used because in a browser, my password manager is automatically signing me in. PROVIDE DETAILS (tell us what you are looking to change) I’d like to have the same automatic/easy sign in experience than in the browser. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT (how would it change your experience) The main advantages for me are: Easier and faster to configure a new service No need to copy and paste the login and password from another app
Group apps together (in the dock) / stack apps in folders / categorize apps
Folders on the dock, to group apps together. And then maybe the folder would expand into a second dock where the different apps are shown like in the main dock. When I’m working without an external monitor, I have to scroll a lot in the dock (19 apps at the moment). And I really don’t like that. The scrolling part, but also don’t have an instant overview of all my apps. If I could group apps together that, for my workflow, are used together, I could bring back the overview and I won’t have to scroll in the dock. For example Tweetdeck, Facebook, Buffer are apps I use only when I’m doing a particular task. Even better would be that when the vertical space isn’t there, the apps would be grouped together in a folder or something. And when I’m on a big monitor, the apps would be normal in the dock, but maybe with a visual divider to show that the apps are actually grouped.
Add Separators In The Dock
SUMMARY (your need in one sentence) Lines or other separators so we can visually group app icons together in the dock. GIVE US CONTEXT (tell us about the current experience) I find it’s tough to keep the apps organized. I’d like to be able to group apps together and have visual separation. PROVIDE DETAILS (tell us what you are looking to change) I’d like a small line or something that can be dragged and used to separate groups of apps. DESCRIBE THE IMPACT (how would it change your experience) The main advantages for me are: being able to see groups of apps at a glance being able to group apps by feature or use etc. Thanks!
Have a dark or night mode / allow custom themes in Station / change UI color / add CSS styling
Hi guys, Firstly, thanks for the product. As a developer and a productivity geek, I can use my favourite tools together in Station App. But I’m also a dark theme geek. I use almost every tools with dark theme option or I switch theme via Stylus and [userstyles.org](http://userstyles.org). If you can add some adding/importing CSS feature , I’d be really happy. At night, I have to use Chrome instead of Station because of these dark theme options. Again thanks for the great app, have a great process!
messages number icon
there is a possibility to add a message counter icon beside the app that counts the unread messages( i added an example) TNX
Option to prevent multiple instances of Station running on linux
Prevent station to open an identical second instance when starting it from start menu icon. Only one instance must run with the same accounts of apps. Clicking the icon must raise the already running instance of station, but now, a second window starts. If this behavior is functional in other ways, it must be an option in settings tab.
I know Facebook is a pile of junk, but it sort of works, most of the time, in most other browsers. But it crashes once every few days and hangs up Station for me. I have to force quit and relaunch. I wish I could avoid Facebook, but everyone else uses it, so I can't. Can the Facebook app on Station be made a bit more reliable? Thanks. Great app apart from that. And I genuinely appreciate anyone having to interact in any way with Facebook! :)
Missive aap don't handle e-mail links
If I click and em-ail address link in Chrome page or in a document, don't wake up Missive App inside stationapp to start wiring my message. This is a deal breaker to only use station vs station + missive app client
Minimize Station to tray (Windows) / add Station to the menu bar (Mac OS)
As an improvement because it does not create a choice of Station for the tray. Eventually, a signal (for example: ball) to show new notifications. Thanks a lot for this awesome app! Keep up with the good work!
